New Format
I think this new blog software captures most of the spirit of my home-grown site before, but offers you all the chance to interact right here on the page. Comments are wide open.
Thanks to Roxane, a friend of Amacker's and a real-life web guru over at www.little-truck.com, for all her help getting me started with the new software.
Have fun!

Dear Bullwinkle's;
Can some of us bring gourmet food to you at the hospital until we get to visit our Amacker? What time and where? Some of us are willing to bring some meals and fresh juice too you... while you/we wait.

Also 2 talented designers who are planning to create adaptive clothing for Amacker+There are some people that have donated funds from pay-pal and others that are donating silks and cloth to the Inventors and Designers of Amackers new adaptive wardrobe. A++
Thanks for the new format, Richard.
It is indeed more user friendly.
Thanks again for the updates.
Best wishes.
Nathalie
I don't know you or Amacker or your family at all (I am here, like many people probably are, from Neil Gaiman's journal), but even complete strangers on the other side of the world are wishing all of you all the best. May she stun everyone with her speedy recovery!

Richard,
Getting an AVC is indeed pretty common when you are risk of clots. Just think of it as one more piece of our new Bionic Woman. Thank you for keeping us updated, it helps alleviate the anxiety. Amacker, love, we are all pulling so hard for you. Get well, so we can tell you all the jokes we've made at your expense (to hide how worried we are). Thinking of you all the time, M. Nance
Gooo Roxanne! Richard, Roxanne, I love it. Comments to come rolling in.
Yes, this is much easier. I have been thinking of you all constantly since this happened. When she is awake and on the mend, I am available to help in any way possible. Just let me know what you all need and I am there.
I'm another one who is following this from Neil Gaiman's journal. I'm sending my best wishes for speedy recovery for Amacker and energy for you all supporting her during this time.
Richard,
Thanks again for this and all the updates. One note...seeing as you posted this message at 1:30 AM and your following message at 7:30 AM, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE remember to take care of YOURSELF for the duration.
-Chef Juke
No kidding, Chef Juke!
Amacker is going through so much. But Richard has just been an unbelievable support! He has quietly gone through so much, himself. Please Richard - take care of yourself. I'm hoping to be there next week sometime. I'll let you know.
Love you.
I'm with Juke and Alden Richard. Remember, as Katy said, this is gonna be a marathon not a sprint...
I know a hundred people have made this offer already, but you call me if you need anything or just want some company. I'm pretty sick of work right now so I could maybe use some time getting beat by you at scrabble.
Thanks Roxanne for setting up the new format. I feel less like a lurker already.
As one of my favorite people to hang out with at tradeshows and art events all over the Bay Area, Amacker's situation has been occupying my thoughts obsessively all week. Sometimes really dumb stuff like "damn, I forgot to call her on her last birthday" or "damn, I really should have gotten that bracelet back from her so my wife could repair it!" Then I remind myself that, although everything is at least a bit different for her from now on, she survived the accident and I'll still have a chance to do all that stuff.
There's a workstation in our lab at Adobe that always has this page up so we can all keep up. (Word ripped through Adobe btw -- I can't find anyone who doesn't already know about the accident.)
I'm looking forward to being able to visit. Thanks for keeping this up, Richard.

Dear Richard,
Thanks so much for taking the time to let us all know how Amacker is doing, on top of all you're dealing with by her side.
And thanks for being there, when we can't.
I'm thinking of Amacker, and of you, every moment. Please let us know what we can do to help.
with love,
Kathleen
