Song of the Day: Angel From Montgomery

It's not a song about Amacker or the situation, but it is one of her favorites and one of mine, too. She first played it for me a million years ago, and then later she was asked to do the poster for a John Prine concert... what atreat for her. Anyway, it's a great song!

Hey Bullwinkle family! O Silly me! It only took me all of these several weeks to figure out the blogs and comments! I have been sending emails to Alden and Richard instead.

In any event, just wanted you all to know I am here pouring forth love, respect, caring for all of you, and esp. Amacker!

Dick, thanks for your wonderfully inspirational and vulnerable father's day letter.
Richard, thanks for all your updates, sense of humor, and heartfelt comments and memories.

I know Alden is chomping at the bit to get out to CA to be with her sister. You are being so patient!

You are all so courageous and strong! It is so amazing!

Actually, I was at that John Prine concert with Amacker. And had the great fun of letting a few hangers-on know that the poster they were lusting over was hers, so they lined up for her to sign them on the front of a parked car. It was and remains a very special memory - and it is a very special song.

Alden and I arrive tomorrow (Thursday) night!

Actually, Dad, we'll be there Wednesday.

And I remember hearing about that concert - how Amacker was giving out autographs to her adoring fans! So cool! She is a rock-star artist.
