Verbose

I tried to open the blog on my phone today, and it said the page was too big. To make things a bit more manageable I have broken the blog into 20 posts per page.

Leave me comments if you think that's too many or too few.

Hey Amacker,

It will probably be a while before you read this, but I wanted to drop you a line to let you know we were thinking about you. I'm about to leave for Costa Rica tomorrow (and we've been running around like mad trying to get everything ready) so I won't have a chance to stop in to say hi, but please know that we are all thinking of you and hope you are doing well.

From reading your blog it appears that you are healing quickly and everyone seems really positive about your improvements. We couldn't be happier for you. Hopefully by the time you are back on the streets we will have the boat up in the East Bay and will be able to take you out for a cruise around the bay. Until then you can always keep tabs on us at http://tritonsatsea.blogspot.com

In the meantime please get well soon! We love you and wish the best for you.

Cheers,

Robb & AnnMarie

Good idea to break things up.

But the posts earlier than that seem to no longer be accessible -- clicking on "Archives" doesn't do anything.

Are they still there somewhere? Would hate to lose all those pretty pictures of our girl!

I like the small posts. I log on frequently during the day and it is nice to read new stuff.

I won't be visiting as I have never met Amacher, got here thru Neil's post. She sounds like my kinda person tho.

Go Amacher!!

Jack and I saw Amacker around noon today. I'm absolutely gob stopped! The progress she's made is so dramatic and quite a testimony to her strength. There are no casts (just the neck brace) and she's easily moving all four limbs. She was sharp enough to remember that the pants I was wearing were the same as the last time we saw her at brunch before the accident. She had a tough night last night being worried about Gargamel and the fireworks and it kept her waking up throughout the night but she seemed to have gotten some good rest in the morning today because she was chatty and witty as always. She wanted me to remember to get the Meyer lemons from her tree and ate about half of the fresh peach ice cream we brought (the nurse offered to put the rest in the freezer for her). Just for the record, she doesn't know why they're delivering choco soy milk to her and (surprise to me), she doesn't like soy milk at all but the little cardboard bottles are good for flinging at the door when she can't get the nurse's attention. Tim stopped by too while we were there (pretty witty guy, that Tim). She was singing the Transfomers theme and quoting E.B. White for Tim just before we left. If you go visit, take note of the funny stuff people have written on the charts above the empty beds in her lovely sunny room with a view of the rose garden. - Marianne
